The new Wonder Tornado 120mm PWM fan features a 9-blade vortex design and the reliable Sealed Precision Fluid Dynamic Bearing. The adjusted size ratio of the hub to the fan blades ensures excellent smoothness, even when the maximum speed of 2000 rpm is reached. In addition, the new design of the fan blades creates a strong and focused airflow that optimizes cooling performance and static pressure. Rubberized pads over the tunnel-less mounting holes act as a decoupling device and prevent the transmission of noise and vibrations. Together, these features result in reliable fans that offer strong airflow while remaining remarkably quiet.
Improved Blade and Frame Design
The Wonder Tornado features a newly developed design with nine swirl-shaped blades, an enhanced blade-to-hub ratio and a reinforced frame for maximized air intake resulting in powerful perfomance and excellent stability.
Sealed Precision FDB
In order to guarantee an exceptionally high level of stability and durability, the fans from the Wonder Tornado Series are equipped with a self-contained fluid dynamic bearing (Sealed Precision FDB). The bearing and the spindle are made entirely of high quality compressed metal and lubricated by a special oil film resistant to temperatures of up to 250°C / 480°F. This drastically reduces friction, ensuring smooth operation and minimized wear, which results in an average life-span of 120 000 hours.
Integrated Anti-Vibration System
The Wonder Tornado fan series is equipped with vibration- and shock absorbing rubber pads which cover the tunnelless mounting holes. These decouplers effectively eliminate possible vibrations and allow low-noise operation.
